Miami attorneys Robert H. Thornburg and Stephanie Vazquez successfully defeated a Rule 12(b)(6) motion to dismiss regarding a copyright infringement action brought on behalf of Colombian journalist Virginia Vallejo claiming that her best-selling autobiography “Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar” was used as the predicate for Season 1 of Netflix hit show Narcos.
