Allen Dyer shareholders Robert H. Thornburg and Ryan T. Santurri teamed up to secure a judgment and recovery before Honorable Judge Kenneth A. Marra of the United States District Court in and for the Southern District of Florida, West Palm Beach Division, on behalf of client Palm Partners, LLC regarding Copenhagen, Denmark based Internet domain name Registrar Net Names (formerly known as Speednames). Previously, Palm Partners LLC had registered the domain name www.h7s.com, for purposes of addressing the rising instances of addiction to synthetic drug “H7.” Despite Palm Partners requesting that Speednames renew the registration for the domain name, for purposes of launching the website to address addiction treatment options for those addicted to the “H7” drug, Speednames failed to do so – allowing another domain name Registrar to obtain and squat on the domain (namely, holding it hostage for a large sum of money). Palm Partners then brought suit for conversion and unjust enrichment in West Palm Beach Federal Court against the Copenhagen based group – which resulted in the favorable judgment (a copy of the Order and Judgment are contained herein)
