Ryan T. Santurri

Shareholder, Registered Patent Attorney

Ryan Santurri is a Florida Board Certified Intellectual Property Law Attorney. He advises clients in the areas of intellectual property and related litigation involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights and right of publicity. He also provides trademark and copyright acquisition and counseling services. Ryan has also been involved in successful appeals to the Federal Circuit, including favorable appellate decisions on rulings from trial and from the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Ryan attended law school at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, where he graduated with honors. While in law school, Ryan was a member and chairman of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court and competed in the team’s final four competition. Ryan was also a member of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and was a teaching assistant for the courses Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy. During his time in Gainesville for law school, Ryan coached High School and Masters rowers in the Gainesville Area Rowing club.

While in graduate school at the University of Georgia, Ryan was a microbiologist in labs studying Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Caenorhabditis elegans. Ryan was a cited author on “Localization of Mycoplasma pneumoniae cytadherence-associated protein HMW2 by fusion with green fluorescent protein: implications for attachment organelle structure,” published in Molecular Microbiology, Volume 47 Issue 1, pp. 49-60 (2002). While at UGA, Ryan was the Head Coach of the UGA Crew Team, which he led to first and second place medals in the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta. For several years Mr. Santurri was an adjunct professor at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, in Intellectual Property Litigation.
