ADD+G attorneys Ryan Santurri and Brian Gilchrist secured another major victory for ADD+G

ADD+G attorneys Ryan Santurri and Brian Gilchrist secured another major victory for ADD&G client Axon, formerly TASER International, the manufacturer of TASER-branded conducted electrical weapon (CEW) technologies. Judge Paul Byron of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida awarded over $7.5M in treble damages against Florida-based Phazzer Electronics, Inc. for patent and trademark infringement. These damages included a disgorgement of Phazzer’s profits from trademark infringement, a 40% royalty for the sales of Phazzer’s infringing CEW. Judge Byron also found the fees charged by ADD&G and other lawyers in the case to be reasonable, bringing the total award (including fees and costs) to $7,869,578.74. A copy of the Court’s Order is attached here.
